Xbox series controller issue

I have a xbox series controller and have played the game with it before but now when I open the game the right joystick doesnt control the camera but the triggers do.
I tried to disable the steam input, tried to update the controller with xbox accessories app, Im not sure what to try now.
Any ideas how to fix it?

Many people have this or similar issues. Only a few report back if anything has helped.

You could also try a different usb slot. Maybe the game just needs to re-detect the controller. Or if you have more than one controller, uninstall them all and only install the one that you want to use. This game is weird with the controller issues.

I tried that too, I have 2 different controllers and uninstalled them, reinstalled the game too, but still no solution to it
