Yakuza 0 - Legend Playthrough - Shibusawa Final Boss

Damn, I've been stuck on this boss for like 4 or 5 hours. I defeated him on one try in Normal mode in Yakuza 0, but in Legend, just because of him I have to restart this finale chunk all over again at the ship. You guys got any tips or tricks...? I basically just speed-ran the game and unlocked almost all the abilities until the $50,000,000 radius. I also didn't do Real Estate Royale, I basically played the game as quickly as I could.

For the final boss, I can do part 1 and 2 fine, but I always lose during the third part of the boss fight, I don't know when to attack him or what type of style to use.

This is pretty much the only problem lol. OP, you can still beat Shibusawa without end-game upgrades even on Legend difficulty given enough skill, but naturally it's going to be harder with such a gimped Kiryu.

How are you on healing items? Staminan Royales break the game so you can brute force your way through this fight if you just stock up on these. Equipment can go a long way too, but if you skipped a lot of the game, I would guess that you'd only have a few mid-tier equipment.

I have my healing items stocked, I think I stocked up on Toughness Extreme I think is what it's called. I just lose my health to those stupid gunmen sometimes. Even when I switch to Rush style, the melee guys kick me down and the gunmen/grenade throwers give me damage

I have another save in Chapter 10, I might work on getting upgrades for Kiryu. Awano and Lao Gui aren't the problem for me, it's Shibusawa mainly in the third phase

Yeah, the gunmen can be a pain for sure. Since it looks like you would rather not reload to an earlier save, I think you should try to push through with what you currently have. Getting to Shibusawa phase 3 means you're really close to finishing.

Any tips and tricks for the last phase...? I don't know whether to use Rush style, or Beast, or even Brawler. I wish I had alcohol because I read somewhere that you can have increased damage when drunk if you unlock that ability. Also, how do we counter an attack (on keyboard), because maybe that might help me dodge Shibusawa's attacks...?

im gonna assuming you already unlock these skill also alway hit the boss at the back not the front , style doesnt matter if you know what you are doing
lock on + heavy attck when you about to get hit for brawler
lock on + grab you pull him infront of you for easy back attck when you about to get hit for rush style
guard + grab when you about to get hit for beast
lock on + grab when you about to get hit for DOD
but then again after seeing you have 300 hour on 0 is this a bait post and beat so and jo which is the hardest one in the game ?

Thank you for the tips. For Jo and So Amon, I struggled with that fight also, I lost so many times but I defeated them because I had to watch YouTube videos, and I saw them guarding and using heat actions lot. At least I could try again without loading a manual save since I defeated them on my Normal playthrough, but it was hard, didn't expect them to have 14 health bars.

The substory achievement is at 2.8% obtainable rate whie Stuff of Legend is 1.9%, so I'm not baiting, even though Shibusawa might be easier than the Amons.

For this fight, I might be overthinking it. I just get nervous because I have to reload and fight Awano, Lao Gui and Shibusawa again if I die instead of just Shibusawa, so I have to be careful. And those gunmens are so annoying.

The drunk boosts are in Brawler style and are extremely overpowered, but they are pretty late unlocks (as are the counter moves) so I'm guessing you don't have those yet. Honestly, with the amount of upgrades and equipment you have now, getting familiar with Shibusawa's moveset is the best advice I can give. Either continue practicing against him or watch a No Damage video on YouTube for reference. If we take into consideration your limited upgrades, then Rush should be your best style for this fight because of its evasiveness. Brawler is good too if you have the Re-Guard upgrade, which you should have at this point.

im gonna say this but do you have access to the starter shotgun (broken 1987) if you do you can stagger most boss in the game in 1 shot for easy heat action or get a few free hit in assuming if the boss dont trigger hyper armor
