Save file disappeared???

Reinstalled the game after not having played it in almost a year and found that all of my save files were in chapter 1 - 2. I was at chapter 8 when I stopped playing.

Do you have the original save from that chapter? Only thing I can think of is when you uninstalled the game steam cloud didn't sync.

I don't have steam cloud enabled because it causes issues with some of my games. Regardless all of my other saves are present so I don't understand why my main save is just gone.

You'd have to check the directory and see if it is, otherwise the save would still be present. If steam cloud is disabled its the only thing I can think of.

Lol idk why I never thought to check the save folder before posting. All of my saves were there but weren't being read by the game for whatever reason. I renamed my latest save to "SaveData0000.sav" and it worked. Thanks.

theres a half decent chance you may have exited the game when getting the glitch that changes your items into like food or something else for example, like your equipment becomes anything but equipment, you can fix it by saving, but if you leave the game with the glitch your save files might delete.
