for ppl doubting gog note: the entire collection (yakuza 0 to 6 remaster) is on sale for $35 bucks. so 7 games for that price for limited time right now. just saying if that sparks any newcomersor ppl that havnt gotten most of the games yet.

the last sega sale on steam had 0-6 at around the same price, there was a new bundle called the yakuza collection which was removed after the sale ended, meaning its only a sale bundle for all games, so next thursday we should see the yakuza collection once again during the summer sale for steam

I'd rather purchase just one game as a "newcomer" gameplay seems hella outdated, I wanna give it a try, but only available as a 7 game package? No sir.

Why are you listening to reviewers for anything? Ever heard about forming your own opinion? if that was the case then nobody should play ff16 because of the reviews, right?

It sounds reasonable to ask someone "is the game good" before spending a lot of money, in my opinion. It's not like you can figure out if the game is good in the extremely narrow refund window.

There are specific reasons I take reviews into consideration.
Port of a game matters a lot and I don't wanna waste time and money on games that the devs were lazy to make it worthwhile.
I have heard of forming my opinion that's why I said I wanna give it a try,

I wouldn't be here if SEGA didn't discounted the entire series as a bundle only. It's not that appealing of a game to me but I wanna give it a try because it's known to be a good game.

Unless you read a large chunk of reviews, then it would be easier
different experiences for different people
ive seen many threads and reviews of yakuza 0 crashing or blackscreening, if i stumbled upon them before buying, having the fear it would happen to me then it might not be a purchase, but there's no guarantee that a few people having crashes means i have the same or that there isnt a fix available
as for reviews they are fine to read before buying but make sure the person reviewing has well over 50 hours on the game (steam includes playtime in reviews for a reason)

I'd argue the time invested and most tend to only play 0 and move on.

0 and Kiwami 2 have been fantastic so far, Kiwami was torture with it's combat, I may move onto 7 after I finish Kiwami 2 though.

How about 4 and 5?
Based on reviews that I read, people tend to rank Kiwami 2, 4 and 5 at the top (after Yakuza 0 of course).
