Clear Data after New Game+
Got a little question. So, after my first playthrough the game automatically created a clear data save.

If I were to load that up for New Game+ and play through it again, would it create a new clear data save at the end of the NG+ run or overwrite the old one? I'm thinking of upgrading the legend styles for ridiculous damage during this run but not if that would affect my old clear data.

As i remember there is one slot for clear save. And after beating the game it'll automatically overwrite the old clear save.
After all, you always can make a copy of your saves.

What would happen if you beat the game on a fresh new game then? Would that also overwrite your old clear save and potentially overwrite a save with way more progress?

Yes, this will overwrite your clear save. When i beat the game on legend, my old clear save was also overwritten.

I wanna come back to this question with a slightly different one:

So, right now the clear data I made in my Premium Adventure is fairly complete for my purposes. That is, I've unlocked all the skills for the regular styles, unlocked the Legend styles and unlocked most stuff at the shrines.

Now if I were to finish a fresh New Game run where I just rush through the main story this would overwrite my clear data with a less complete one, right? But, if I understand everything correctly, I could just keep a regular (Meaning, not clear data) save from my Premium Adventure where I unlocked everything and if needed, load that and restore my old clear data from there, right?

Yes, it's doesn't overwriting your regular saves. Basically you can do it, but i would recommend to make a backup of your clear data, because it'll much faster.
