Patch v4 is now live - 26 March 2019
UPDATE: The below patch is now live. Thanks to everyone who fed back our our beta.

Please note that this patch will reset your graphics settings to default because of the change made in graphics.ini file. If you have made any changes from default settings previously, please make those changes again and then restart the game. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Thank you,
SEGA Dev

Hi Yakuza fans,

We've pushed a new patch to the beta branch, which you can opt into from the BETAS tab in Yakuza 0's Properties in your game library. If you are not experiencing any issues, we recommend NOT opting into the Beta patch.

Branch: community_test_branch
Password: DragonOfDojima

• Fixed an issue where changing the option 'Camera Control (Vertical)' to 'Reverse' didn't apply to the mouse when using mouse and keyboard.

In addition, by user request, while we cannot add a separate FOV slider in-game for combat only, we've added a fix via editing the ini file:

• Added a separate FOV value for combat in the graphics.ini file. Players can access this by browsing to \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Sega\Yakuza0\graphics.ini and changing the CombatFieldOfView="62.000" value (minimum 30, maximum 90). Changes will take effect after saving the ini and relaunching the game. Adjustments made to the ingame FOV slider will override this setting so we recommend players who wish to have separate FOV values first adjust the in game slider to their liking for exploration, then adjust the ini file to adjust the view in combat.

Note that this ini file fix is not officially supported, so please experiment at your own discretion.

Arigatou,
SEGA Dev

Interesting it has to be done in the .ini file but can’t add it to the in game menu

Just to be clear, is 62 the default value for combat? What I wish to do is slide it half way for exploration, then make the combat stay at default value.

Patch 3 broke the game for me, played 55 hours, now wont boot after the patch. This one doesnt help either.

Seems like 52 is the correct value for combat FOV. But now i saw a new strange thing. Like shadows and LOD always on LOW settings, even if i set in on Ultra.

Let’s hope they directly confirm and hope they fix that 😩

Thanks!
DEFINITELY ARNOLD Mar 18, 2019 @ 1:18pm
What is the default value?
16Bit of Courage Mar 18, 2019 @ 1:52pm
Even if i change all settings to the max value (3 or 4, according to the FXAA quality line) in Graphics.ini. Shadows and LOD stays the same. BUT the LOD for models are not affected. They look perfectly fine in gameplay and cutscenes. But buildings and shadows are lower quality and always pop up that you can notice it.

Also seems that texture bug in Sotenbori is gone for me for some reason. Before the patch it always pop up randomly. But not now.

Guys, i think i resolved the LOD issue. This new patch resets your settings and if LOD is on high and not ultra, is glitched. Change ur settings back to ultra and check if it fixes it.
