As far as making another prequel, I highly doubt Sega will go in that direction, at least in terms of dwelling with Kiryu's story. Considering the newest game in the series, it seems they want to move the focus to newer characters to keep the franchise fresh. I can possibly see them making a Majima spin-off as fan service due to his popularity, and by the off chance they do consider another prequel, it will probably feature other characters like Ryuji or Akiyama. Another idea I think would be cool is a game featuring Daigo with certain game mechanics highlighting his role as the Tojo head (like you can order guys to do stuff).
But, later, Shintaro introduce them to Dojima Family and they became a part of it.
For Majima, well, not much. We know that he was a respected within Shimano family. All part about Saejima and Ueno Seiwa hit is part of Yakuza 4 plot, so i won't explain it here. Only i can say, what he lured by Kazuo Shibata out and threatened to not join Saejima in this job, revealing that it was a set-up from the start. Majima was very angry about it and clearly told that he gonna warn Saejima. But Shibata called his reinforcements and Majima failed to take them out. Yakuza's tied him with the chain and Shibata took Majima's eye out. Later, Majima confronted by Shimano himself about not following orders and throw him into Pit, where Futoshi tortured him one year.
After that, Shimano, probably amazed by Majima's toughness, set him free, but expelled him from the family and sent him to Osaka to the hands of Tsukasa Sagawa.
There Majima met his wife (but shortly after that, they divorced) and his friend (later a keyfigure of Yakuza 5, and in Y0 they won't contact each other).
Some time later, he took Sagawa's offer to became Cabarets manager in order to get in the Tojo clan again.
not likely. IMO if I was Sega and wanted to explore that portion of the story, I would probably do it from the perspective of Kazama and not Kiryu. But the thing is Kazama was never a very popular character. MAYBE you could do it from Kashiwagi's perspective
kashiwagi and kazama in the 1970's would be interesting
