Mahjong/When can you pair a dragon or wind?
I was under the assumption that you can only triple dragons or winds but I've seen AI win with pairs of dragons and winds, when is this allowed?

Every hand needs 4 melds and a pair. That pair can be a dragon or wind tile, but they don't give you a winning yaku, so the AI had a different yaku to win from.
