Focus on your Platinum and Gold hostesses, or Silver in early stage, train them while gathering fans in each area to unlock the rival battle. And make sure do the special training for huge level boost each time after you finish operating the cabaret club.
You can Google the answers for the hostess special training.
Required fans count to beat them?
Do you mean the required fans count to unlock the rival battle?
Venus just wants a lot of girls with the "Talk" or "Love" stat. Should be about this time they start asking for particular hostesses as well; Pay attention to the richer clients having Ai instead of love, they are literally asking for the girl, and are pretty unhappy with any other choice but their request. if she isn't in, they also won't ask for her, so don't worry about her not being able to work.
Club moon is just rich people with high demands all the time, and is the one you'll be playing from that point on for money/ hostess exp.
Required fan count to start the battle is their club popularity, which you can see on the businesses tab when you highlight their region.
I never needed to grind beyond the fan count, as it only technically increases the odds of wealthier clientelle, and being smart with using your skill (before theirs, since it drains their meter)
has allowed me to win each one without ever failing.
When it comes to the moon club battle, just bring out all your best hostesses, and go for client extensions whenever the client's satisfaction is a small smile or better.
Another question: what was the average level of your girls during these battles? Were they level 30? 40?
Thank you guys for the advice! :)
They still can be beaten as soon you unlock the rival battle, not necessarily has to grind and get more fans of your rival club.
Average level for each club rival battle? I don't remember, lol.
Except for Club Moon, Yuki was already level 40 at that time, Chika still 27, other platinum hostesses around 33, and few gold hostesses at maxed level 30.
I was lucky. It only took me two tries to beat Club Moon, didn't even have to grind.
I think there was some rng involve in that rival battle. First time I failed horribly, second time was piece of cake.

If you're missing out on sales, a good idea is to assign a girl to a customer, then press B/Circle to back out and pick a girl, then back out of that once the girl is sat down with the customer at the table, it gives you an additional ~5 seconds of sales. Also, pop Fever when you have it because tables in Fever are protected from guests getting kicked out by your opponent's Fever, and it also decreases your opponent's Fever meter.
As to Fans, you probably won't need any more than you get with Business Partnerships +1 round of hostessing in their area. Getting 25000 total is advisable for the battle with Club Moon, but you get almost only Mega-Rich customers if you hit 30000.
