Transferring Save Files From Cracked Version

So, a week or two ago, I cracked Yakuza 0 from Fitgirl's site to test out the game, due to it being recommended heavily by a friend. During that time-frame, I managed to get up to Chapter 5, and already I’m having a blast of an experience.

It was today that it came on sale, and seeing it was only 6 bucks, I immediately bought it. I’ll be willing to repeat the first 4 chapters if needed to get back to where I was, but I want to see if there’s a way to transfer my save files from the cracked version to the Steam version. If that’s the case, how would I do so?

Probably by dragging and dropping the save files from the cracked folder into the steamapps YAKUZA 0 folder and appdata folder for yakuza
But id say repeat the chapters as youll be semi prepared on what to do

I can't seem to find the saves files at all for the cracked version. Also, just remembered I did a lot of side quest missions during my play-through in the cracked version, so now I would really like to figure a way to continue off from that save. I couldn't find a solution online, so I'm a bit stuck atm. Got any ideas?

The save files for the cracked version might be in your Document folder, under something calls "My games". At least that is what I had when I used the cracked version, hope that helps.

Nope, see no save files there for Yakuza 0.

Your steam saves are here: steam\userdata\your steam id\638970\remote\
and cracked files are here: C\users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\638970\remote
