(DS and MH games all have laggy / slow weapons. MH has oversized weapons to lore-wise excuse it, but both games can also be a bit unresponsive at times. Still... I love MH games. IMO Nioh is way better than DS2 because super responsive controls and quick combat make regular mobs FUN to fight, while still keeping you on your toes and wrecking you hard if you get sloppy.)
Like I said: In Ch1 of Yakuza 0, these problems weren't as bad, but in Ch2 they somehow exponentially magnified. When the controls work, some of the fights seem a bit easy, when they decide not to, they seem basically impossible. I guess I should just stock up on HP+Heat pots galore and use them like an addict. I'm not sure what happened.
I'm fighting those "Men in Black" most often. I have all the abilities in the 2 fighting styles that cost 2m Yen or less, can't afford the 30m yen ones yet.
I'm really enjoying most other parts of the game.
I'd record my play, but that would be worse than pointless, because there's no way to on-screen show what buttons I'm pressing and when, so all people would see is the BS nonsense of the character NOT dodging, not making contact with enemies, and getting gang-banged between enemies. Or when it does actually dodge, it doesn't necessarily go the direction I want.
I'm going to edit the word "literally" from the first line, as it was hyperbole.
Did you equip the Charismatic Autobiography?
I did. It has the best stats of any non-body item I can equip so far.
I figured it was causing the enemies to run toward me to fight. Does it affect their behavour in battle as well?
(edit: Yes, it does.)
