HOW DO I AUTO SAVE?!

Can you auto save in this game? if yes, how? pls help.. i have seen some YT tutorials where they talk about the 'settings.ini' file but the SaveAnywhere option is not even there.

Thats not auto save. Save anywhere simply implements kiwami 1s save system you still have to do it manually

You do realise theyve patched the method for yakuza 0 hence why you couldnt get it to work, so you are going to have to save via the vanilla methods

Nope, they made it so manual save is the only thing possible, unsure if there are any mods that you could get but right now phone box is all you have for saving, its the reason why legend difficulty is the way it is

yakuza 0 is where u have to manually save each time, u can deal with this until u brought yakuza kiwami

auto save wasnt a feature in 0, until 3 years later, kiwmai has one, there's a huge difference there

they designed the save mechanics that way on purpose. it's not that hard to just save every so often.

but my laptop crashes for unknown reasons randomly. it would just make everything better if we could save anywhere anytime

it's not possible to save anywhere anymore in 0, it got patched and I assume was only used for testing purposes until Kiwami

i have dell i5, kinda recent. i can manage but it would just be way easier if i could save when doing those final fights at the end of chapter.

Type of laptop doesnt matter, crashing happens due to internal issues, such as drivers not being updated or nvidia not being updated, laptop itself does not need to be updated but it sometimes will help
if you see any crashlog or error then it is likely youll be able to fix the situation
