There are two major problems with Dead Souls. Its not the greatest game of the series and its really only for die hard Yakuza fans. The other problem is that the game's frame rate is awful especially during explosions and large mobs. This happens a lot.
I am not sure if the fps problem in Dead Souls is a hardware isssue or not. Yakuza is a somewhat buggy series that does a very good job at hiding its bugs rather than fixing them. You can ussually find more bugs during the new engine games(Yakuza 1, Yakuza 3, Dead Souls, Yakuza 6).
I could be completely wrong, but I feel like the point of Dead Souls was to test the waters on different styles of gameplay to be used for a different game(Binary Domain). If thats true, maybe its the coding of explosions that cause slowdown. I honestly don't know.
That said, it's definitely the least polished game in the series and probably the least fun overall, even if Majima's section is 300% gold.
then fist of north star. then we'll see bout the rest. :)

Though it would be nice to see that game ported that will run much more better on greater hardware and perhaps with better controls too.
