How to delete saves

I made two saves, how can I delete the save?

No way to delete if your using steam cloud

I haven't seen a way to delete them period. The appdata folder only leads to backup_9999.sav and a similar file, they aren't named in any conventional way to indicate there's a way to do it without someone making a tool to do so.

Saves keep multiplying here, now there are 17 of them.
