Item transformation

I start new game without CD. In chapter 2, I help random victim and he gave me silver coin. After some time I notice that silver coin "turned" to long camel-colored boots.

Long camel-colored boots "turned" again to silver plate, and obtained French wallet became ghost koi fish.

that's some save corruption bug, I believe... well, never happened to me and I have +100 hours in it - just keep checking your items after you save the game, I guess?

Was an issue when the game first launched. I believed the issue was taking the free items from the clown guy at the shrine in the first few chapters.
When you say CD, you mean like boot from a CD ? This is a legal copy of the game you own ?
Asking cause there should have been an online update or something from Sega if it's bought on a CD.

This situation has happened to me on several occasions. For the most part, I've just ignored it but if I have to do inventory related things, I save and reload. If you try to put any of those "transformed" items into the item box, the game will crash.

CD-completion data. This issue never happened to me in 2 previous runs(easy/legend). Now I play on normal and here I am.
I didnt take free items from him, when I encounter this.
Cure for this is stash all valuable items to item box before save.

I had this bug once too, all my items and equipment had turned into food which you could buy from restaurants.

the game is ported well btw and this must be hardware related that the equipment turns into food is 100% hardware related
