I don't think Sega knows the rules of 9 ball or most likely its me
In 9 Ball Pool one must hit the balls in order 1 to 9. If one makes a ball out of order it counts as a scratch basically and the play can put the Cueball where ever. THe other player then must continue to shoo the balls in consecutive order until finished.

With this in mind I played pool for the first time in the game and my opponent hit the 5 ball into the 6 making the 6 in when the 5 ball was next in line. WTF?!? Maybe I don't know the rules but I sure as hell watched enough 9 ball tournaments though....

Correct, you don't know the rules. The cue ball has to hit the next ball in order first, you need not sink them in that order as long as you hit the lowest ball on the table with the cue ball first.

Honestly, this is something one would look up themselves before making a post being wrong and blaming another entity.

Just wanted to necro this post to say that the game tells you the rules wrong, so the people that called you out are in the wrong.

In-game rules specifically say "Players must sink the balls on the table in order, starting with the lowest-numbered ball," even though you really just have to hit the lowest ball. So it's on the game for having a disconnect between the tutorial and the actual rules. I could not figure out why I kept falling for hitting other balls into the low ball.
