How does this style work? Is there some hidden skills for it or something?

Also 5 levels would equal what 70b yen?

Also how do you get to level 2? By buying all the skills? If this is the case thenone will be wasting money on the HP ones as there is a cap to it and I have easily reached it. What a bummer that you have to waste money on the HP nodes.
You can check all the skills in the abilities list, DoD comes fully equipped with all the skills, although it is not as good as in other games since you don't get additional skills from Komaki, it's still useable.

Shakedowns are piss easy with this style, just trip them with a punch parry and do heat moves over and over.

Once you bump that bad boy up to level 999, you can knock out a secret boss with a single jab.

No I didn't, but someone said that there was a video on YouTube of someone who was level 999 beating a secret boss with a single jab.

I only leveled up to level 2 and I already feel overpowered.

You can use grabs at almost any point in a combo if you have more than the 1st heat bar. Kiryu will toss or powerbomb the poor bastard into someone else nearby.

zap gun? Twist Counter?
Twist counter, lock on to your target, press grab when the target attack. Done right, Kiryu will grab the target's arm, twist it, and kick their leg to make them fall down.

Pretty good to use since the Shakdedowns have slow attacks, so the timing is easier than most.

Otherwise the Zap Gun is easier to fight them with, I just personally prefer fighting them hand to hand.

Twist counter is OP against Shakedowns it parries their punches and their move when they are trying to ram you, the only thing you have to watch out for is when they are trying to hop on you and do the mounting punches heat move.

It's way too easy otherwise.

Getting to 999 isn't much of a grind. Pretty boring and pointless though because past a certain point, being ridiculously overpowered stops being fun because then fights are over in a second or two.

Just use Kiryu with that CP unlock that has Mr. Shakedown drop 15% more or something. Then go stock up on spicy hot knives or something as well as tauriner and go find Mr. Shakedown, get beaten and lose your money, heal up, go find Mr. Shakedown again, then spicy hot knife him to death and get back your money + 15% or whatever percentage it is

Rinse and repeat, then wire Majima cash to help him level up.

Faster than brawler/beast and hit harder than rush. There is nothing to dislike of D&D.

And i found it...very powerful. You can easily beat Shakedowns just using this style.
1) Start with Arm Twist Counter. It have very large counter window and boost your Heat to middle 2 level. its a bit dangerous if you use this too early Shakedown will use his grab counter.
2) Next is just pummel him with Rush combo and use Snatching strike (press Q after finishing blow). You will build the Heat.
3) Ultimate essence 0f '88. Deal extream damage. Use this when Shakedown get up after snatching strike.
4) Repeat this steps and you will get him down.
Personally, my favorite style. Mad dog of Shimano is much weaker.
