It's a bit limited yeah unless you get like at least 5 levels on it.

It does have it's use, good counter move, easy to access heat action, double finisher, grab finisher.

Personally I say the main flaw is the slow gear 1 basic combo and weak heat generation. It shows more of it's power at higher heat.

How does this style work? Is there some hidden skills for it or something?

Also 5 levels would equal what 70b yen?

Also how do you get to level 2? By buying all the skills? If this is the case thenone will be wasting money on the HP ones as there is a cap to it and I have easily reached it. What a bummer that you have to waste money on the HP nodes.

I think it's mostly supplementary to your other combat skills, a lot of it's "affects all battle styles". TBH though it's really just there for those who have played since 1 because it's his original move set from the PS2 games. Yeah, it's a bit weaker, but you can consider it a 'hard mode' if you're really bothered about it. Personally I don't use it, I only use Rush for bosses and beast for everything else because quite simply it is beastly.

You should buy Limit Break (by using CP). It allows you to level up the legendary styles up to lv. 999.
cerebus23 Aug 9, 2018 @ 8:36pm
it is a tad faster then brawler, hits harder than rush and it has alot of finish options.

I find it fun and a good all around style, But you really do need to sink a ton of money into it.

On top it boosts your other styles a bit.

But until you do that barwler is going to be the best since it takes guys down so fast with the power you got in that style. 1 full combo in that and they down, when you got it near maxed out.

dragon at lest atm for me it takes a combo plus finisher or two combos but i am only on t2 leveling it up now.

This is kinda what bothers me about the remakes, I absolutely adored 1 and 2 from the PS2 era, there's a certain stark simplicity about them and their combat, you can kinda accept that a real trained bad a*s would be able to pull those moves off (apart from the damage he can take and the pure numbers he goes against) and it grounds the whole thing bringing it closer to some semblance of reality, and I really really enjoyed that about the first 2.. but now, although I still think the franchise is fantastic, Y0's story line and presentation is f**king stunning, but it's kinda turned into a superhero brawler with all the flashy auras and implausible moves, it's definitely fun, but there's not as much integrity to the game and subject matter any more and I definitely think that the Kiwami's will suffer from the change in tone.

I'm a bit sad about that loss to be honest... still gonna buy them though, but it'll lie heavy on me. I wish they would have an 'original mode' where it cuts out all the flare and just lets us play a better looking and smoother version of the originals... but Santa doesn't take personal requests.

The style have a double finisher and grab finisher for each rush combo (light attack 1-4 times, heavy attack, then either another heavy attack or grab) as it's "gimmick".

It's also the only style other than Beast that allow you to grab enemy on the ground.

Also the HP is actually uncapped, you can keep buying the upgrades and you will get more. It's just the HUD won't show the increased HP. You can see it when you get hit and notice your HP on the HUD isn't reduced.

Admitedly the style is still underpowered compared to the Dragon Style in Kiwami.

If the HUD doesn't show the HP increase anymore then what Sega should do is overlap you HP bar with the color ones like they did with the enemies you fight.

I also can't imagine anyone getting to lvl 999 in this as well. I mean 1 there is no point and 2 what the hell does sega want you to do spens 1000+ hours grinding money to reach that? I mean its nice you can have the option of doing but who the hell would spend that kind of time doing it? I guess there is an easier way to make money than real estate? I mean the Shakedown guys do give a decent amount of cash but for me they rarely show up anymore. They are basically non existent

Spend more than 5m on catfights on the girl with the worst w/l and come up hard.
I made like 277m off Maria after the mechanic is introduced, and I only put down 3m.
I imagine it's pretty rng based, but it worked solidly for me at least! :momocat:

Do you have the Encounter Finder? If you equip that you will always see the Shakedown guys in the map. After you beat one, just get into a random fight or enter/leave building to have anothet one spawn.

Those guys carry around 1 Billion at their strongest, and luckily DoD style is one of the best style to fight them with if you can do the Twist Counter.
Zap gun + shakedown = shakedown is a breeze.

How do i get a Zap gun? No matter what materials i get from usings agents, the Zap gun in crafting always shows up with question marks around it.
