No Audio
So I get the little Sega noise when I start the game and then no Audio whatsoever after that point.
I can't find anything on this issue and changing the audio mode to 1 didn't do anything either.

Do I have to refund and wait for Sega to get their crap together?

Have you tried verifying the files?

Is you audio hooked up via USB. I had an issue in a few games where my headset would disconnect in certain games. Switching ports resolved it.

Yes of course.
And yes it is, but different ports or different audio devices (non-USB) give the same result.

It's weird that I don't just have no audio at all but instead get audio for the Sega logo and only after that it goes quiet.

Just installed and started playing the game, had audio up till the Middle-aged Man and Trendy Youth arrive after the Nishikiyama intro.

Same. So nobody got a fix either?
hey, i had the same problem, but fixed it by disabling the controller speaker (was using a usb connected PS4 controller). sometimes after big windows updates this option gets reset as the controller is not plugged in all the time. soo if anyone has this problem often and with other games, try to remember it might reappear and needs to be disabled again.

option found under Sound>Playback (right click your speaker icon for sounds)
ussually it says wireless speaker under the one for controller, just press properties and switching device usage to don't use this device (disable)
