How do i use an item?

go to inventory and press A on it

hey man thanks for the fast respons. I'm on PC and i can find the inventory but it's empty but i remember buying a bunch of health potions to use in battle. If i can set this straight than i still don't know what button to press this game confuses the hell outta me :(

are you sure?

press esc, go to inventory, press E on the items.

those should be keyboard controls.
