About encounter finder
So first of all i want to complain about this item specificly for Kyriu... why the hell this important item is MISSABLE for him but for Majima its not?

Next about same issue, i have problem getting money trough Kyriu and appearintly beatin mr shakedown (i already prepeared myself with 5 zap guns) is the quickest way but since that damned encounter finder for him is missable and i already completed miracle johnsons substory i need tips how to track him down because i already wasted enough time with this save file and dont want to start over again because of that item

Is there possiblity winning that item from dream machine, if yes when from which ones exactly?
So apperantly if i lose to mr shakedown he usually sleeps in parks (but which ones?)
Where is most common place i can/could find him?

Thanks in advance

There's some confusion between the Encounter Finder and the Trouble Finder (even in FAQs on IGN/GameFAQs). The FAQ/Wiki on IGN describes the rewards the opposite way from the guy on GameFAQs.

The Touble Finder finds substories from people "in trouble" for you to help.
The Encounter Finder finds "encounters" for you to fight. (hooligans and Mr. Shakedown)

There is a chance I'm misremembering but the Trouble Finder is what you get from Miracle as Kiryu. But this was only a few days ago and I distinctly remember seeing "Trouble Finder" after picking the second black box from Miracle. It makes sense that the Michael Jackson parody would give you something to help people.

For Kiryu, the Encounter Finder is supposed to be from "The Tax Lady" substory. I think. But I did that substory and either never got it or it disappeared from my inventory (I made a thread about it the other day).
nope

FWIW it's a single player game, you can do what you want, but ultimately I just went and gave myself 9 trillion yen with cheat engine. The way I see it, it's just saving me the time I would have spent mindlessly grinding Mr. Shakedown for no real reason, getting me the same result only in a few minutes instead of a few hours. But, that's me. You do what you want.

The Tax Lady substory gives you "Trouble" finder which is basicly shows substory start locations but i need a "encounter" finder which shows on minimap foes and mr shakedown... If the ONLY way to get that is trough miracle substory then this is bs

Huh, you are right. I just looked it up on YouTube. Then it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because I 1) picked the black box and don't have it, and 2) I don't have the item from the white box either.

Anyway. As I said before I just used Cheat Engine to give myself the money and have no reason for it to bother me anymore. When I finish up the CPs in the finale I'll just give Kiryu Majima's to get the Mr. Shakedowns.

Just to throw in a bit of math here. Let's say you start at 1 billion yen which is reasonable enough I think, since it's also around the amount of money Mr. Shakedowns will drop in their strongest form, and assuming you need 5 minutes to do one cycle of getting defeated by a Mr. Shakedown and then defeating him, you'd need 22 such cycles to end up at around 7.5 trillion yen, which would take a little under 2 hours.

Look if you already can't find Kiryu Shakedown then just grind on Majima Shakedowns, they also give 1-2billion (its only 1minute fight if you using Zap gun or maybe other shotguns, then you can enter any shop and exit from it and repeat collecting money from Shakedowns) so then just transfer money to Kiryu using Mr. Moneybags

If someone need a help in this game then i recommend to read this great guide https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/introduction

Okay, to get back to the maths, if you tried grinding 7.5 trillion yen on Majima Shakedowns and assuming you'd get 1.5 billion yen on average per encounter, you'd need 5000 encounters. Even at 1 minute per encounter, that would take 83 hours.

So as you see, the Kiryu Shakedown grind is vastly more efficient.

Uhm.
Dunno if anywhere in the block of texts on this page said it, but you can transfer items from one character to the other through the Mr Moneybag characters.
If you've got a point you need Kiryu to have the E.F, pass it through to him when you next can then when you're ready to move on to the next Majima section, be sure to pass it back.

If this isn't a Legend playthrough, then earning money shouldn't be that difficult and you probably shouldn't stress on it until after you've started each of their businesses.

How do you pass gear items? I can only select non gear items.

It would appear I was sorely mistaken with what I said earlier.
I never used the item sharing function, so I only assumed it was possible that way.
Sorry for getting your hopes up. :cqdark:

Well, it's not a problem for me since I have the Encounter Finder on both characters. It's really stupid design though that an item like this would be missable on one of the characters, especially on the one that can really exploit Mr. Shakedown encounters.
