Now that it has been cracked...

I feel the number of users might decrease since there are also those who will pay for the game, but get the cracked version to avoid Denuvo. SEGA patched out Denuvo from Shenmue and Two Point Hospital. If they are smart, it is only a matter of time before they do the same for this great game!

i still think the people who wouldn't pay for the game, independent of denuvo, will continue not paying.

this is a very niche game and it is cheap (even more now and some weeks ago) the people who care about it already bought it.

I havent bought it because I'm waiting for denuvo to be romoved from it. I haven't pirated it either, but that doesn't really matter. now that the game is cracked I would love for them to remove denuvo. I will buy it full price when denuvo is romoved. sega has removed denuvo from some games before after they were cracked so I hope this game follows that same path. if not then I guess I have to forever pass on this game.

I bought the game because I watched a playthrough of it on Youtube and a semi-open world game is right up my alley.
But the game could be better. All the crashes during minigames really makes me feel like I can't enjoy the game to its full extent, and the framedrops caused by Denuvo doesn't help either.
I really wish SEGA would just drop it at this point... (And Bandai Namco too gdi)

Be careful with what you say about Denuvo messing with game performance, you might invoke the Eternal Shill© (name copyrighted to show his undying love for corporations). Although I think we might be safe, they're probably too busy defending whatever the latest Denuvo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is.
And yeah, SEGA should really remove Denuvo now. I doubt they care enough to do it, though. They obviously don't give enough of a damn about their product to patch it properly.

I just hope "Kiwami" does better than 0, with all the rumor of it coming to PC soon... I'll probably wait until enough user reviews are out or the game is discounted at 30% or more.

I bought and finished the game, it ran like crap - likely due to Denuvo (the dev update logs on SteamDB imply that also). I also would like my game to be available offline and after Denuvo goes bankrupt after being blown out by pirates.

It ran perfectly fine for me , all ultra ingame, though my pc is 5yo, only new thing is 1050ti card and ssd for games , no fps drops at all.

I can play it in offline mode in steam btw

Cool, but I never asked for your opinion on the matter. You asked for mine, and I gave it. I made the mistake of buying a Denuvo game 3 times, which is on me. I can safely say I gave them a fair shot and was thoroughly dissapointed. I was locked out of one of the three games for weeks because of Denuvo (as were hundreds if not thousands of other people). I won't buy another game with it again. That's my stance on it. Is that so hard to understand? I couldn't care less if you buy every game with Denuvo ever, what you do with your money is up to you. I'm just hoping that the developers of the games I bought are fair enough to remove Denuvo after it has been cracked or after it goes bankrupt, which is the direction the company is heading in since the last few Denuvo "protected" games that released recently were cracked in under a day.
