What is the difference between Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza 0?
The story on the Steam page of Yakuza Kiwami seems very similar to that of the story of Yakuza 0, anyone can explain?

Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the series. Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the first Yakuza game.

Yet, since the remake was made after Yakuza 0, you will find some direct connection between some characters and substories from Yakuza 0 to Kiwami.

Kiwami uses the same combat style from Yakuza 0 (Brawler, Rush, Beast and Legend) unlike the original version that uses that one repetitive moveset.

Zero is set around year 1988, yakuza kiwami is set in 2005.

Yes, it's a different story, as others said, it's a remake of Yakuza (2005), Kiryu is (for the most part) 37 years old, not 20 like in Y0.

The description for 0 says its in the 1980s, Kiwami says its in 1995 + 2005 so... ^_^
