[GLITCH?] Heat Action not checking in completion list?

I remember tens of hours ago during Majima's last long battle, I downed someone with his anti-katana Breaker Heat Action. I remember doing the Aerial Whirl one (take out three guys in one Heat Action) several times too. But today when I was continuing with my platinuming of the game, I noticed these Heat Actions weren't there. I thought my memory was bad so I repeated them fresh on some free battles as well. No change there.

There was nothing stopping me from getting the gold star on all of Kiryu's Heat Actions, so what's going on with Majima's one? I know the full item list completion isn't necessary for getting all achievements in the game, but if this extends to the main metrics too, this is going to make my next several hours come to a screeching halt.

Anyone else encounter this issue? If so, any solutions?

If you are referring to the completion challenge, every heat action has to be an action you never used before, so they have to be UNIQUE. If you’ve been repeating them over and over, then they won’t count. If you ARE performing unique heat actions and it still won’t count, then yes I think it’s a broken glitch.

Yeah I know it's for unique heat actions. But Aerial Whirl and Katana Bite don't appear on my list period despite having done them more than once.

Breaker and Slugger's heat actions are not registered correctly (you can still gold star it)
Breaker's heat actions filled Slugger's list instead.
So, to gold star the Breaker's heat list, just do Slugger's Heat Actions.

... WHAT?! That is the most outrageous explanation to a glitch I've seen in a while... but I'll report back later to this thread after trying this out regardless. Thanks for the lead.

Okay well... that really was the solution then. That's super weird and I feel like it should at least be stickied somewhere if not patched out yet. Thank you bat0 for the answer.

can confirm this bug as i'm going through heat actions right now, it's really confusing

I've got the same issue. I lack two breaker heat moves despite doing them multiple times. They just won't register.

Yep, this is not working for me. I have done every breaker action and have gotten no star. They do not register in my slugger list either. Very disapointing, almost 200 hours in and very close to 100% and this happens.

Update: I've 'completed' the slugger list and some (not all) of the breaker list filled in. I'm in a weird spot where the bottom 2 on breaker and the top 2 on slugger won't register despite doing every heat action for both.

So I have an update on this. Apparently the heat actions for Majima's Slugger and Breaker styles are somewhat mixed up in that list. I'm not sure if there are other heat actions of his mixed in there, but it seems to be mainly those two, probably only those two. If you're missing actions from one of them, try doing all of the ones from the other style. I managed to achieve full completion on heat actions that way.

I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd share my experience too. The registrations of heat actions do indeed seem to be glitched, as I was trying Majima's Slugger Style "Pole Pandemonium"over and over and it just wasn't popping, so I gave up on that one and went for "Essence of Twin Sticks: 2nd Bar" instead to see if it was just me not doing something right. That one then didn't trigger either but then the "Pole Pandemonium" one did in its place.

EDIT: I just did "Essence of Tonfa: 2nd Bar" and both that AND Essence of Twin Sticks: 2nd Bar popped up together." Very strange! xD

So they never fixed this? What a useless lazy bunch. I'll remember this in future purchases.

Alright guys, this migt come in late, but as stated before, some of these slugger heat action didn't show up so I looked up my list and then I noticed something, the list said I did the tunfa and nunchaku heat action but I didn't even own these weapon so made those heat action and then the other 4 mission heat action show up. In summary, make you sure you actiolly did the action and don't trust the list.
