DS4 not working

I'm trying to use a DS4 to play and this game just won't recognize it at all. I've tried enabling/disabling the ps4 config in big picture mode and I've tried using all the USB ports. I can scroll through the big picture mode using the controller just fine so I know it isn't the DS4's fault. Is anyone else having this issue and if so, have you found a way to fix it?

Longshot but you could try installing Playstation Now. No need to subscribe ofcourse but that program installs it's own set of input drivers for PS pads. May work.

sounds weird i have no problem at all using my ds4 i didnt even have to big picture mode it im assuming your ds4 works with other games, could also be another longshot but try verifying files / checking ingame settings etc

Strange. Have you had controller problems with other games? Can you use your DS4 with other games right now? Here are some things you can try:
1. Verify the game cache
2. Restart the computer
3. Go to control panel, remove/uninstall your controller, plug it back in and verify it's installed
4. Try a different USB cable
5. If you're sure it's not the controller, you could try uninstalling/re-installing the game.

same issue for me, ds4 works in other games (tried rocket leauge), messed with steam controller settings, didn't help at all.

if anyone has any tips (not the retarded ones, kthnxbye), please share

I finally got it to work. It only worked after I re-enabled the PS4 configuration in big picture mode AND chose the most popular community controller profile to apply to the game. I think it was called Yakuza 0 Correct Configuration or something like that. This is the only game where I've ever had to pick a custom profile to get it to work.

btw, just fixed it:
1. open up start menu
2. type in bluetooth
3. choose "Blootooth & other devices"
4. remove "Wireless Controller" and "Xbox 360 controller for windows"
5. reboot (might not be needed, but I did it anyways)
6. after boot go into steam > settings > controller > general controller settings
7. put a check mark on "playstation configuration support"
8. play yakuza to see if it worked.

I've tested yakuza and rocket league, so far everything is fine.
