how to save Progress ?

Played the Game yesterday and today i only have the Option new Game but not Resume Game ? Where is the option to save Progress ?

Great, I played 3 hours and lost all my progress because I didn't know this trick
I thought there would be auto-save at checkpoints.

It seems you have to use phone booth, but you can also edit settings.ini to be able to save anywhere. There is another discussion thread about it.

I also played 2 hours without saving and thought, there is an autosave. Arrgh!

Sadly, only Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 have an autosave.

I couldnt find the fix there. Probably because was the same as this one:

OMG this sucks. Kuze killed me so I thought I'd take a break. You mean I have to start at the very beginning of the game again??
I thought it was odd that "S" was for "phone booth," but hey the whole game is in Japanese so whatever. They should have told us to save at phone booths.

Don't want to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but that's literally what the game does right in the beginning.
