PS4 Controller Mixed Buttons

Hello! When I tried to use my PS4 controller with this game for some reason some of the buttons for menus are completely messed up. For example, while the UI says X is select and Circle is go back, Square is select and X goes back. It persists even after messing with the controls. Additionally, during gameplay the right thumbstick is reversed so that up and down make the camera move left and right and left and right make the camera go up and down. Anyone know how to fix it? Thank you so much.

I've read somehere you need to use the steam big picture and calibrate the controller from there, haven't tried it myself though.

i had the same problem with my "Logitech RumblePad 2", and fixed it by right clicking the games in steam and go to "Edit Steam Controller Configuration..." > "(bottom left)BROWSE CONFIGS" > "(bottom left)SHOW OTHER CONTROLLER TYPES" then you scroll down untill you see "GAMEPAD" "Playstaion 4 Controller " scroll slowly you can miss it.

maybe there even is a faster way to do this.

sorry if i'm not clear enough, i'm bad at explaining things, but i thought i try anyway maybe it will help you guys.

if that does not do it, go into Steam > Setings > Controller > click on GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS > click on the thing under "Detected Controllers:" then you see "CALIBRATE" and "DEFINE LAYOUT" click on "CALIBRATE" then click on "START FULL AUTOCALIBRATION" and do whatever the window tells you to do with your controller, after that click on "Calibration Completed" or "Ok" and then you can close the window, and start the game.
(under "DEFINE LAYOUT") you can define the buttons and sticks on your controller if you want for what ever rreason.

That worked perfectly! To explain it a little bit better, all I had to do was go to big picture mode, settings, controller settings, and ticked the "Playstation Controller Support." No issues after that. Thank you so much!

Instructions unclear, started at step 6, liked it. Didn't solve the problem but now I don't care :D

This saved my ass, and the meth was a nice touch
