Model Swapping - It's Possible

You have to swap the files while in game, then reload a save to get it work.
meaning that every time you boot up the game you have to have Kiryu and Majima's normal files then switch them to a female's.

Yeah no luck here either with getting female meshes to load in. Upon reloading the save. It stopped crashing but now it just hangs on the loading screen.

Alright so female mesh swapping is definitely possible but very finicky. As Micro said make sure you guys make the ps4 folder and move your files after you've loaded your save. Make sure the mesh you're using goes inside the w64 and not the ps4 folder (ex. if you're replacing Majima's mesh with a female mesh, replace the one in w64\adv\c_cm_majima and NOT ps4\adv\c_cm_majima.)

From the few that I've tried, some work while others just crash. I know for a fact that c_cw_CFjennifer works so try that. Also it seems like hotswapping after you've loaded a female mesh is impossible, even if you're switching back to the original mesh the game just crashes. Curious to know if these are just problems on my end or if others have similar issues.

Can confirm that this works.
This only problem is that if you use it on Majima his pony tail is still there.
Now if only we can figure out a way to either mute or change Kiryu's and Majima's voices.

to an extent you can mute the voices if you go to Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Sega\Yakuza0 and click on audio.ini, you can change SpeechVolume to 0. Haven't tested it out too much yet but I know it mutes their battle grunts.

It just keeps crashing for me when trying to play as a female. But I think some of the problem is the game itself. It’s been giving me problems to launch from day 1.

Yeah I don't know what it is, seems like different people are getting different results. Maybe it depends on what part of the game you're in. Right now i'm on chapter 7.

If that's the case then I minus well play my way up to a certain point of the game and try again since I'm still on chapter 1.
