Outrun - Crashing When Challenging Electronic King

I'm having this silly problem when trying to play the Outrun minigame with the Electronics King. Now, I can't progress through the Real Estate sidejob. It just keeps on crashing everytime after the prompt to play Outrun. Anyone having any similar issues? or does somebody have a fix?

maybe I have same problem just like yours

all the real estate story or any substory about sega mini game

will let me have the freaking bug

i cant complete the all substory because of this damn bug

Mine just crashes to the desktop. Hope they can fix this soon.

Create a new user on your computer that uses only basic alphabet. When this game came out i did this to even play it :D

What about windows 10 though, it requires both first and last name so there is a " space" as a "special character" in the user name.Or is that also ok?

I cant uderstand how user name affects the arcade games in the first place

Changed my user name to full english, still crashes, I am completely locked out of battel royale because of this bug since I cant interact with the table until I deal with the king

Sorry for digging in old conversation. Just shared with you what worked for me.

I use 360ce xbox controller emulator to play the game since I only have generic gamepad.
Just to get pass this crash, I moved 360ce and its 2 small files out of game folder,
Disconnect controller, then play the challenge with mouse and keyboard.

I fixed this crash while logged on with new windows user as suggested above so.
Hope this helps

Holy Lord. This Helps so Much !! Thank youuu. At long last, i can unlock the abilites and continue playing this game. I really want to get Dragon Style before finishing the Story. Thank you.
