I'm just wondering... what's wrong with Kiryu's default black suit?
He said he needed a proper business suit, so just tuck in his white shirt and wear a dark blue tie then he's all set.
Why seek advice from Nishi who wears a gay ass suit? That new white suit he bought actually makes Kiryu look more gangsta.

Oda said Kiruy to change his suit because he looks like yakuza in it.
So they go to the shop with Nishiki. Nishiki offers some other choices but Kiruy is like 'hell no'. Then they see that white suite and Nishiki says 'go try it'. Not because he thinks it will get Kiruy more decent look but for fun and also with a thought that it will be actually to his friends liking. Then they laugh on the fact that actually despite the clothes Kiruy is wearing he still looks like a thug cuz of he grumpy face.
Maybe Kiruy is very tence on the outside but inside he has a lot of humor and his own sence of style.

just wondering when does this happen after he calls HQ on the phone and he has to go there? or before? because i just started and i had the whole conversation about how he has to get a new suit etc but instead we went drinking (had to beat up 2 drunks) but never got to the part of buying a new suit and now im at the part were i have to go to HQ

You cant miss getting a new suit, it's part of the plot. Just keep playing.
