outrun sucks
Trying to get that SEGA property so I own all properties but I gotta make 3 million in Outrun.

I'm a good gamer, but I'm garbage at driving games - never liked them. I've tried Outrun like 30 times and STILL can't make 3 million.

And I hate driving games. Is there a way I can cheat? It'd be useful to cheat in the other games I don't give a toss about like mahjong and bok choi and all the other ones where I.. yeah.. no. Not doing it. Just gimme the DARN acheivement.

1. Get Cheat Engine. Open it.
1. Launch game. Open Yakuza0.exe process in Cheat Engine.
2. Go to the SEGA HI-TECH LAND
3. Lauch Out Run
4. Once in-game copy paste this to address - libtgsa.dll+8FC25C
....edit the value to 1280 (it will be 5 million points)
5. Finish the game (get yourself killed) ....get your CP, befriend the manager, bust Electronics King

And if I lose the Outrun challenge (score 5 million points), then I'll lose 10% of total area occupied. Money collection will also be put on hold UNLESS I WIN THE CHALLENGE. As money collection will be put on hold, I will won't be able to re-invest in existing properties that I already invested on (re-investing appears after payout). Then how can I continue the business in this case? The money collection I referred above is in the Electronic King area.

New properties can be bought and upgraded (only once till next payout). There are about 10 properties, with only one starting property of this area (Share is 5%). If I bought the remaining 9 properties, share will be raised to 50% (Total share of all 10 properties, including starting property). Investing in existing properties raise the total share in this area by additional 10%.

Investing in properties will be stopped if total ownership of Electronic King area reaches 60%, as money collection will be paused in that case. Unless if I complete the challenge, I will no longer invest in existing properties that I already own.
Money collection resumes even if you lose. You're misunderstanding the system.

I lost against the Media King and I still got the achievement "We built this city".
If you lose, it s just delayed. No big drama.

I lost in Outrun, but now I have taken over the Electronic Kings territory and have him working for me, with 100% of the shares of the territory in my possesion. Therefore, you don't win there.

Now, getting the Gold Hostess Isobe on the other hand........ You need to win against her, or you won't get her.

It literally doesn't matter if you fail challenges. The only difference is you might need to wait maybe an extra 30 minutes to get to 100%

The only drawback of Outrun in Yakuza 0 is the time limit you get to beat Luka's high score. 75 seconds?! Damn, even if you switch the gears to HIGH, you NEED to crash. You can't predict curves (as Outrun doesn't have this). The time limit is enough to beat Luka's 2 mil. score. But 3 mil. score of Luka's really difficult when you're trying to beat with this time limit. But Electronic King's 5 mil. score is near impossible to beat, as you need to go fastly without crashing, whilst speeding around corners.

Since it is tied to 10% of shares (5 million), there's no way you can proceed in Real Estate Royale without completing this impossible challenge.

Even if you've invested in all properties without accepting Electronic King's challenge (once only), you cannot further invest in existing properties, as money collection will be put on hold until you complete this annoying challenge.

SEGA should increase the time limit, rather than resorting to cheating method. And if developers refuse to do so, then blanka's post will be correct.
What? There's signs that literally tell you when a turn is coming up. What is with people and thinking this insanely easy mini game is hard. I don't get it, must be the new generation of gamers that were brought up with zero fundamentals. You game Fuqing steers for you lolol. You just move slightly left or right depending on the turn so you don't get swung into the signs. Dodging Cars is BEYOND easy. If one is right in front of you, let go of the accelerator for a split second while turning right or left. That's it.

I'll show you easy. Fight me in street fighter v!!!

I managed to beat Luka's 3 million points... The real headache of Outrun in Yakuza 0 is the brutal time limit you're given to start the game (75 seconds)... A small hit will get you a GAME OVER before reaching the first checkpoint (if game's timer is 0). And even if I press the brake button to steer the car back on track, the winding turns, climbing up (because you will won't see which vehicles are coming in front of you) brings you series of heart-attacks. Even if I press the brake button to slow down the speed of the car, whilst holding the acceleration button, it literally crashes into something like a car, a sign board or a tree or whatever it is offroad. That's a waste of 5 seconds to reset the car. When you ran off the road after road division sign in Outrun (particularly the beach division), this is another time waste to get back on track and pick up the speed (due to short width of the road). There's only a somewhat minimal chance of dodging cars in this case, unless you're on the road that has a larger width.

That's why Outrun in YAKUZA 0 is a complete heart-attack for many. Game's modified too difficult. I have ditched my 10% shares upon losing against electronic king. But luckily I am able to reinvest these properties after money collection was over.

Yeah... same thing here. I am currently focussing on Real Estate Royale rather than Majima's Cabaret Club Czar.

Blankas solution worked for me, and I used it on Super Hang on, Outrun, and Space Harrier. Haven't found anything for Fantasy Zone yet, and holy crap that game is garbage. Either way, I'm at the finale and wanted to thank everyone who was helpful for their input.

LOL. That's why Steam achievements are completely worthless. Players trying to unlock them instead of achieving once they find some challenge. What's the point of achievements to you, then?

This mini-game is very easy, I almost did it until the end (8 million+) once challenged by Electronic King. All you should know is to brake during steep curves and to avoid hitting trucks. You don't need to go full speed through the entire race.
