Fishing bug?

I tried to finish the Komian Chef subquest to find the ingredient, but whenever i tried to fish in Sotenbori footpath north, there are no fish at all. I tried different kind of bait, even use the peerless pole, still nothing. I also tried in different times (chapter 3 & 4), still empty.

The south fishing spot worked just fine, and i already get the soft shelled turtle.

any suggestion?

Sugestion: Don't do fishing in Yakuza 0, it blows XD

Hmm, strange. Even if you just quit and re-enter the fishing spot it should repopulate, without bait. Have you tried restarting the game or reloading some save files? That doesn't seem like it should happen.

Yeah, kinda need to do that for achievement & mission

tried everything, and the only solution i got is starting a new game. sucks

Oh! I found the same problem. But I found in at Sotenbori River South Side. No Fish At All!!! How to Solve?

EDIT: Finally, This Problem was gone. I exit the game and then open the game again. And The Problem was gone.

You need a peerless fishing rod and loads of fishing food bait
(if u dont know where to get a peerless fishing rod, u need to buy it at the pawnshop in kamurocho as Majima)
to know what ur looking for, there are 3 types of fish
the Soft shelled turtle is a weird looking bump thing, u know what it looks like
the eel is a skinny one, can be found where the turtle is located at
the fish one u need is a big one, and is found in different area, but on a same location

I got all the ingredients with the standard fishing rod. Didn't take long, but it seemed that I just had to let the bait sit out for a minute or so and then the desired fish would grab it. Can't remember if I 'baited or not (LOL); wanna say I was able to do it with basic bait or no additional baiting.

ye, it is possible to do that with no requirements, but it could be harder, unless ur that lucky

Idk if you use cheats, but when I turned off all my cheats and restarted the game from save, fish showed up.
