To those whining about Denuvo:
The system requirements for Yakuza 0 are so low, that Denuvo wouldn't even matter, even if it is poorly implemented. You don't have to worry about internet checks if you haven't changed your hardware anyways.

If you don't like it, just download the crack (when it releases), and apply it to your main install, without being a grubby entitled pirate over a $20 game.

Or better yet, don't buy it at all. Don't give it attention if Denuvo affects you that much. Don't even pirate it. That just gives developers more of a reason to implement DRM.

Me personally, I can't wait to play Yakuza on my 144hz monitor, my i5-7600k and GTX 1070.

EDIT: I personally would rather not have any DRM, but I can see why they added it, because of Reddit communist crackwatch cucks.

Lol @ denuvo haters
>Sega games forums on steam infested with "no yakuza/sega games on pc"
>Sega bends over and decides to release their game on the platform that makes the least money, so they get denuvo to have a little bit of security and avoid losing that much money from people pirating it.
>"MUH freedom" "i wont be able to play this game in 50 years because servers will go down" "frames drop to 10 fps with denuvo!!" "pirating day 1 xDD ♥♥♥♥ denuvo"

No wonder why jp hates pc gaming. This kids just hear denuvo and they go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on why they arent getting the game (Which im pretty sure they dont even know what it is for)

For all the non braindeads out there, get this game. Its honestly a 10/10, specially this one. the best yakuza of the series (even better than 6 imo). And for the price.. pfft its a steal.

Just a heads up fellas: Steam is a DRM

Sad part is Denuvo isn't even the performance problem people think it is. It's typically other ♥♥♥♥ being misused. Some "Denuvo" games have had their performance crippled not by Denuvo, but by mishandling the SteamAPI and choking everything.

I don't even care anymore. It's okay if they're clear about it, it's just that I don't approve any kind of dirty DRM in my gaems unless to prevent cheaters.

Yeah, it's terrible when companies try to be sneaky about stuff.

DRM has no impact on cheaters, it has zero benefit to the customer really. It's main goals are just trying to mitigate piracy (shortterm) and please shareholders.

Denuvo doesn't hinder performance and stops pirates from pirating on Day One. DRM almost always hurts customers but if there's no performance hit and they remove it after it's cracked I don't care

if they did, I don't think you could find that many people against it in first place

Probably true, though it's understandable not removing when patches, updates, or content is planned on titles. But after that point? It'd be nice.

Reminder to thank Denuvo.
It's because of Denuvo that SEGA are willing to port their games to PC.
So, thank you very much Denuvo!

They're not wrong about Denuvo though but I've been waiting to play this for a long while and no DRM in the universe is going to stop me.

While denuvo IS a malware and is pointless waste of space and resources, looking at MGS5, Nier Automata and Sonic Maina's successes I doubt it will hurt sales in the long run.

When kids goes to sleep, i`m telling them bedtime story about Denuvo. But every time they get scared and crying a lot. Can anyone can explain why kids get scared?

You're misusing the term malware. It's better to stick with the truth "it doesn't benefit customers".

It's a rather simple thing, and pretty much never the problem with game releases.

Im serious, i think that kids should know about real danger. About pirates, they destroying whole pc gaming, and because of this big dadies like Sega doesn`t like to port their games. Kids need to grow up, find a work, and start buying games.
