Nouveau Riche Influx

What does it actually do? I have not seen one guy or group called the Nouveau riche and I have had the skill for a few hours now.

They are easy to beat guys, each of which gives you around million Yen. They usually walk single.

Guys in gold suits.

You'll know them when you see them. They're Yakuza-types in Gold Suits.

I don't know exactly how their payout works, sometimes I get 7mil out of one of them.

They often don't try to fight you, so you probably have to bump into them to get them to fight.

If you want to get lots of money from them, finish them off with a heat action.

I think I have either gotten too far in the story or have some sort of bug. Have gotten to about chapter 14 and haven't seen Shakedown either for a chapter or two. Was bumping into them too on a regular basis a few chapters ago

It's completely at random, you might just be unlucky. They should never stop showing up no matter how far in the game you are. Try equipping the Celebrity Perfume if you have it. If you have the encounter finder equipped you can see Mr. Shakedown on your map.

All the side quest people I had not done are also gone. I'm on the finale now and still haven't seen anyone in a pure gold suit or a shakedown either. I think i'm just going to give up the search and look forward to moving onto Kiwami. Thanks for your help though :)

Edit: Now I am on the finale, everyone has shown up again. Nouveau Riche, shakedown and side quests XD

I almost never see Mr. Shakedown as Kiryu. Get the Encounter Finder or whatever it is and use it. It shows you where he is on the map, and suddenly you'll realise he's always around.

Nouveau Riche also are pretty rare, and harder to find with Kiryu. I don't think the Encounter Finder helps as much with them, as they don't have a unique pip on the map. Instead, you can just keep checking every solo pip and hope it's one of them.

Majima on the other hand usually has no problem finding either, I guess because the area is smaller and is mostly just 2 rectangle loops, so just running along the main routes you're going to run into one eventually.
