How do you koi-koi ?

For those who don't know, koi-koi is one of the gambling minigames in west park.

So i've look through guides that gave me the setup and what to look out for but they do not give any tips.

For instance if I can make a pair do I absolutly need to go for it or are there some shinanigans i need to be on the look out for ? I know I need to make sure my opponent doesn't get anything but sometimes I just can't do anything but a pair so i'm trying to make sure he has less cards to play with. I can hardly win a game so let alone gain any points in a three round situation.

If we have so pro koi-koi players help would be appriciated. :)

I not a pro, but here is some tips:
1) When you drop cards, drop only junk ones (they are not as colourful as rare ones)
2) If you complete combination never call "Koi".
And...that's all. With this two tips, I manage to win a whole game (12 rounds) with Expert AI and get CP.
P.S. Reward is count-(your points-AI points)*bet
I don't go for specific combination-i just keep throwing junk and get a combination that way.
