I too have OCD when it comes to symmetry lol
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1594331634
Now some suggestions for wire fencing and metal gates, I have suggestions for both sizes of metal gate assuming you are using the wire fence with barbed wire on top which is the only full wire fence that works properly (long wire fence which I like better has a seemingly unfixable graphic bug that makes it opaque)
The largest metal gate is slightly wider than the wire fence
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1596081577
so you need to shrink it down to make it the same size as the fence pieces you are using
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1596081347
any overlap of the fencing will be hidden inside the large side posts of the gate, I suggest you place the gate first where you want it to be then place your first fence piece, demolish the gate (so you can better align it centrally once all fences are in place) then place all fencing to enclose the area, the only issue I have with this wire fence is that when 'snapping' it leaves a gap between fence pieces (snapping on, free placing off) so I prefer to align it manually using a path piece to get 90 deg angles at corners as before and overlapping and aligning the the blue hologram to the last placed straight fence piece (or use path piece as guide) for the sides (snapping off, free placing on)

In this next screenshot you can see the resulting fence appearance using the two different methods, left/middle piece using snapping and middle/right using free placing

If you have the patience I think free placing looks better and means you should have fewer issues getting your gate to fit at the end, snapping adds length to each fence for every piece placed and the gate only shrinks down to exactly fit the fence piece (no extra length possible)
Once you have all of the fence pieces in place you can replace the gate have free placing ON and snapping OFF for this which should make placing easier, reduce gate size down as far as it will go and with a bit of luck it will fit.
If you are still having problems with the very big metal gate then use the smaller size one, if you shrink it down as small as it will go it is only about half the width of a fence piece
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1596081186
But if you make it as large as possible it is nearly the same width as a fence piece
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1596111125
So somewhere in between you should be able to get the perfect fit, you could also always have two smaller gates next to each other to fill a gap larger than a single gate would fill.
Be inventive, the ability to resize objects makes them so much more versatile, and be patient the time taken is always worthwhile and good luck!

Pics when done please

Animals have a habit of trying to escape as soon as you open a gate, one way to prevent this is to make an 'airlock', once the enclosure is finished fence off a small area inside adjacent to the entry gate (just one fence piece is plenty) then place a second gate opposite the first. When you enter the enclosure you can now always have a gate between the animals and freedom, the furthest they can wander is the 'airlock'
Knocked this up in about 10 mins to demonstrate 'airlock' principle but you can also see how the large gate neatly fits into an enclosure built free hand from wire fencing, no snapping

Sadly the gates don't seem to be completely 'square' to the fencing but at least the offset is minimal (gates were resized down as far as they would go)

Well then!
Of course the zebra would win.........................it gets lots of practise running away from LIONS!!! lol
What I do when I want to try out something I might regret is to make a second save game - if it all doesn't go as planned I can always go back to the original save
Another idea is to have 1 'airlock' serving 2 pens as shown in next screenshot, large gate enters the airlock and the smaller gates lead to pens (built before resizing was an option)

Happy building
1 bush = 2 hours of frustrating rebuilds
