Though, I am finding pretty odd you haven't found any of these after 100 hours of gameplay - must be really bad luck.
It's a shard that can spawn in mostly maps, and it is most likely you'll have bigger chances of finding green and blue ones comparing with the other colored shards, but, for a little help, I suggest you to go to the maps that are most likely to spawn rare resources, like Burning Sands, Amber Hills, Cultsberg. If devs didn't change Land Base that much since one of the latest patches, you may find one there too. Dorado is a smaller map so also give it a try. It may take some trips to these maps until you get a few of them, but hopefully they'll be spawning in.
Also, have you been into Kitsune's Den cave? There is one right at the beginning of that cave, left side of the first section close to some amanita mushrooms. - this is a fixed spawn for the green shard but it will only spawn once, doesn't respawn once you mine it.
Mostly shards spawn points are also random in terms of map locations, so, whenever you get to a high place in a map, use your crossbow or sniper scope to look around the area.
I totally forgot about those, thanks for the reminder :). Yes I think it's 2 of them on that small cave.
I used to find lots of green shards, but now I don't because the grass has increased.
