Infinity Moment and RE: Hollow Fragment

Are they the same game? If they aren't do you have to play infinity moment before this game, or is it included in this game? If it is included in this game then when? Do these questions even make sense? (lol)

I have read many conflicting pieces of information and am left very confused. Just trying to have the best experience possible.

basically, I can't say this for sure, but the aincrad part is more than likely infinity moment, and then later on they remade the game and then added the hollow fragment story into it, thus the aincrad story in this game is fundamentally the same as the one in infinity moment, with the biggest change being that Philia will participate in events in aincrad if you have finished hollow area.

The start of Infinity Moment is somewhat cut off to get players up to speed though this is an HD port with 2 extra new char one having a different Eternal Cyclone Dagger Special Execution and squishier Silica without Pina. There are also 3 extra chars you can unlock And while you use SPs for Sword Skills, especially for the Special SSs that can hit from afar in SAO IM while in SAO RE HF SSs all now have a cool down and need to be executed near the enemy for it to hit unless they are knocked away by you before or a party member or NPC's attack. Still can't get Agil as a Partner and still can't give Klein any armor even if you max out his trust in both games.
