Xbox Controller

I use a XBOX One controller for all my steam games but the control pad doesn't work for Hollow Fragment. Anybody else have issues? Any fixes?

Have no issues using my Xbox 1 controller. I assume you set it up in the settings?

Not sure if you ever figured this out, but I spent too much time troubleshooting this **** to not share.

The way I fixed it was to open Steam - Settings - Controller - General Controller Setting

Once in the menus, I had to uncheck EVERYTHING except for Generic Gamepad Configuration Support. With ANY of the other options check, left also would not function for me, along with some of the buttons.

This is a really stupid fix, but it is what worked for me. Hope it helps you if you are still trying to play!

ah nvm, this fixed it, but now i notice i can't skip the vn-like conversation

Yeah that fixed my issue

I cant go "left" in menues. My fix is to use the program JoyToKey. There i have to map keyboard to controller

well i play it with an xbox controller too, and it works perfectly, but i have an xbox series controller not a xbox one controller

Launching the game through big picture mode - > game settings -> controller options -> set the Steam forced pre-input to "Forced Off"

Fixed my issue

thank you, that has fixed my issue quickly with XBOX one controller.

now I can press up in D-Pad to Say Good Job to my partner and also down in D-Pad to ask for 'Switch'

it makes a hell of difference for game experience and an annoying glitch ( not any one's fault but kinda of everyone's fault except our players' )

Of course. The funny thing is that for Realization I have to do the same thing, but put steam forced pre-input to "Forced On". Just thought I'd mention that in case you plan on playing it tool
