About Dating/Bed Scenes

Hi to all.

So i'm trying to get all of the CG's for 100% Achievements, & i've been reading a lot of guides about dating, but 1 thing i'm not understanding is about Affinity & about Mood.

Are Affinity & Mood the same thing?

I'm currently partnering with Strea & i read that you need to maximise her relationship level before starting Aincrad Lvl.88.

So what is Relationship Level? Is it Affinity?

no its not. Affinity is to do with battle. you do Certain actions to rise up the level. Relationship is just by talking and you'll unlock actions.

So Affinity is just to try & make sure that ur partner does the battle-actions that u want (& unlocking the extra costumes)?

I got Strea's mood upto Lvl.5-In Love, but every time i attempt to do the Bridal Carry into Kirito's Room, other heroines see whts happening & Strea goes back to Mood Lvl.0-Normal.

Any tip's on doing the Bridal Carrywithout being seen?

Okay, let me eplain. The "Mood" of the character ranges from level 1 to level 6/7, by talking to them at date spots (when a yellow speech bubble appears whilst your partied with them) you can increase the happiness meter.
Do NOT talk to them normally or you'll be there for hours, by maxing out the happiness meter (I recommend doing the prompt by the fountain since you just spam the "Right!" response for the correct answers, and you'll more or less get a full meter every time.

Every time you max it out, the characters mood will go up a level. When it reaches "In Love" you should go to the staircase in Agil's shop, do the bridal carry and walk over to the bed in your room before the moment ends and Kirito puts the heroine down.
This also ends if you're seen by another heroine, so be sure to do the carry as soon as you enter the shop and run over to the staricase.

Then, you get a pillow talk scene where you more or less spam "Right!" again, it sometimes isn't the right answer but there honestly is no indication to right or wrong.

Rinse and repeat and you're done.

Affinity is the relationship level which allows newer options such as gifting weapons and armour, as well as juicier conversation topics (which are essentially one liners with little context during dates) and upon increasing the affinity (which you can see on the menu, under the friends thing with their profiles) you can get new events to do.

Each character has a special event upon maxing it out so be sure to do that for the achievements, the CG one of course.

Side note, to check the mood of the character open a prompt box with the character, switch the tab and select "Examine", which will show you the current mood.

Edit: when I say do the carry as soon as you enter the shop, I mean enter, run over to the stairs and THEN do the carry up the stairs. You'll definitely be seen if you try the carry from the entrance.

I've got the Bed-Scenes for Strea & Leafa so far, so i'm pretty sure i know what i'm doing now.

Quick Note for Others: If ur playing with a Controller (which i am), u might have trouble actually walking to the bed while ur carrying a girl.
For some reason i'd enter the room & straight away i'd put-down the girl, making mood go back to Lvl.1.

The way i got around this (after 1hr of internet google'ing) was to pick-up girl at the stairs, walk up the stairs & then while the bedroom is loading, put down the controller & start using ur KB&M.
Hold down the 'W' Key while the bedroom is loading & then when the bedroom is loaded u'll b walking forwards, then use the mouse to move the camera & aim for the bed.

Xerion, you did not explain how to improve Affinity. Is it done by fighting side by side or by simply talking to each girl?
(I know it's quite an old topic, but I have resumed playing and I need to max both Affinity (Steam ach. & Mood - other Steam ach.).

If you want all special armors for girls and implementations then all you need to do is lv 5 Affinity by prayising them durring fight. It's slowest way but you will have plenty of time anyway. Leave mood it's only for bed scenes if you don't have max affinity, then it's usless.

But if you want all armors you must know when to praise, and when not.
