A severly broken Hollow Mission

Okay, so I was just in the Garden Paradise-North area, and I decided to try the hollow mission there. The mission was killing these 4 treefolk-like monsters. There wasn't a set number counter, so I assumed it was one where I just had to wipe out the guys I saw. Now here is the problem... I will have killed three of the four I see, right? I'm in the middle of killing the fourth... AND THEN ONE OF THEM RESPAWNS!
At first, I had no complaints, cuz I was dealing with them in a spread out fashion due to a group of npc players. However, I noticed that for every one I killed, another respawned (and it takes me about seven seconds to kill them, btw, so my DPS isn't a problem)
So i decided to play the smart card, leave, and return to try again while they are all in one spot still. Except I then run into the SAME EXACT ISSUE. And I was using my buffs too, and had a partner with me who I had currently focusing on attack! So I leave and try a THIRD TIME, and the EXACT. SAME. DARN. THING. HAPPENS.
By now I see that I'm not in a position to win this, because I have confirmed that these guys have, for some reason, A RIDICULOUSLY LOW RESPAWN TIMER. And I'm at level 121, dual-weilding two powerful swords I forged at Lisbeth's shop, and skill and sword arts meant to slay opponents easily 50 levels above me! (I should know, I've done it at least 10 times) Also, I was ready to face the floor 85 boss.
Can anyone give me a hint, cuz I otherwise dont know what to do. -_-

No, it's not broken. There is a some HMs, there you need kill all targets before they respawn. Just use any AoE skills to kill them all instantly (DW AoE sucks, use other weapon like spear or two-handed sword).

Well, thanks for at least helping. I'll see what I can do. And yeah, I agree with the DW AoE sucking. But it does have a decent agro effect.

On this mission you mustnt kill any bugs. Just kill 4 plants total but its hard to aggro only them

Wrong Hollow Mission, though I know that one all two well. -_-

If I remember right I was lvl135 on PS when I could finally beat that one with DW

well kinda late.. but i dont have any real problem with those mission and in multiplayer is great for do hollow missions.. really. The thing is.. learn the aoe skills ... second make all go to you and last oss ... you must do skills after skill.. lets say 3 and last the aoe ( i read that each increase the damage in 10%.. except five that is increased a lot... i had see a bigger damage when i used them but dont know how much)... in that way your aoe will have enough power to kill all or almost all.. sadly for learn ssc you need a large hollow mission.. first like 200 sword skill (can be any weapon... not neccesary swords) then have to do 20 ssc .. for really get what you need.. with 800 word skills more you get unlimited ssc... could be good have the reduction of skills time but is a pain.. first reducition needs like 10 3 ssc (already did it).. second needs like 30 4 ssc (well cause im changing weapons for get mastery in all .. is too hard time a new weapon that.. until im in last stages and then i will change weapon...) and last forgot but needs way too much 5 in a row...

Ok i will update now that i test and did those quest with a lot range of weapon.. and if anyone need.
1st learn the armor skills.. really look for them (forgot what weapon have it) and level it enough for get both hyper armors that make damage you recieve go to 0, there are a skill that makes all damage overpass def.. could be good too have... really those 3 will help you in the rest of game for a lot.
2nd, there are a lot of weapons, but sadly the one handed weapons are good for kill 1 and two handed for aoe.. but dont worry you not need for those quest.. but strategy changes depending of what you are doing.
a. one handed weapon, first use skill and reduce hp all you can without kill to all mobs... and ready you must kill all fast.. so use hyper armor skill and then use your aoe skills and skills to finish al, if the infinite respawn have a NM, take out it first with hyper armor+attack overpass defense. If needed have the special skill that you get later in game... well actually the infinite respawn with 1 NM are kinda late game.

b. This is probably the fast form of do it. basicly almost all attacks are aoe, so attack all for make them follow you and then hyper armor+OSS and boom you will finish..... sadly this make it bad for weapon training with those on multiplayer so never attack all or your training will go down.
