I destroyed my entire village paving my meeting point
this is my first village and I'm on day 150. I started paving with stone and when I got to the meeting point in the center of all my 5 pip huts it has completely screwed everything. Immediately all the huts were abandoned and now I'm generating 46 despair per turn because all the pips would rather be homeless than live in the vicinity of a paved meeting point I guess. I tried un-paving the meeting point but the problem persists when the meeting point sits on dirt, and since there is no way to grow grass there that I know of I guess i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥. The meeting point is still able to be used. There's no way this is intended right? Is it a bug???

After some additional testing, it appears the hut building itself has just completely bugged. I'm no longer able to build any of them at all even if conditions are satisfied. I got rid of them and just built a ♥♥♥♥ load of cabins instead. It won't even give me the option to upgrade the cabins. It's like huts don't even exist anymore as a concept.

This sounds very strange, could you make a bug report, so I can see the status of the village and fix that?

You can also find the backups among the files and once it's fixed we can just restore it!

It's very embarrassing, but I figured it out after playing another 90 turns or so. It's not a bug I just got super confused with social vs leisure and confused the hut's need for a leisure building (shared table) with the need for a social one (meeting point). I had removed my shared tables near the huts because I had gotten performer stalls and thought I didn't need them anymore since performer stalls were generating more hope. I had taken a break between when I told it to demolish those and when I had told it to pave roads in the same day and my camera was panned somewhere else when the day ended, so I didn't make the connection that it was actually the removal of the shared tables, which I thought I had done several days earlier at that point, instead of the addition of paved roads. Oops :steamfacepalm: Sorry to bother you, but thanks for the quick response that was very kind of you.
