Warn before destroying resources
Found out the hard way that *planning* a building on wild game kills the resource entirely, at least for chickens, even if you cancel the building before ending the turn. You know, when construction actually begins? I was setting up to build another BBQ, and didn't notice the birds on the tile. I cancelled immediately, but the birds stayed gone.

Please either restore the resource when canceling a building, or have a warning when you try to build on a resource that would be destroyed by the building.

There is a warning.

When one clicks to place the building on an animal resource it says it will destroy the resource. One therefore has to click a second time to place the building plan.

Not when placing a barbecue on chickens.

There is no warning. To check, I just tried it again and destroyed my other chickens.

I destroyed a third set of chickens with a single click with a house.

It is winter, so technically there aren't chickens left.

But the tile was there with the fowls flock tag, and visuals, before placing a building, and gone after, even after cancelling.

My guess is that the 'no animals' tag in Winter is preventing the warning you described.

If so, I think that's a bug.

Did you mean there's a warning, once, ever, or that there's a warning each time you try to build on an animal resource?

Yeah, once spring came around, there's now a warning if I try to build on top of animals that says it will disperse them.

So there's no warning in winter, specifically.
