I had no companions?
1st playthrough, went in blind. Did not see anyone the entire time and assumed it was a solo experience. Did I do something wrong lol

No, not necessarily. I've done that as well. Yes, you can play the game in offline mode, assuring that it will be thoroughly private, but it is also possible to go the full game in online mode and meet no other players. The active player base has likely thinned out over time...

It does happen. It really depends on the time of day that you play (and also if the game is on sale at the time, as that really beefs up the numbers!). Right now, for example, at 13:40 UK time, there are ~70 people playing. If most of them are already paired up, or in different levels of the game, it'll be tricky to find someone. Keep trying -- or post here in Discussions for a companion to travel with, if you want to get certain achievements, etc.

No you did nothing wrong. 1 month ago i haven´t got trouble finding people, but recently regardless of the time im mostly im alone .Also the internet connection can break very fast between players in Journey. Focus on the side of the screen, the white light show you the position of the companion. Keep an eye on it, somethimes you have met someone and dont note;)

His question wasn,t if he can play the game in offline mode or can he only play online, he wanted to know if he did something wrong because he didn´t found players when he was playing.
