Getting symbols in no order

I completed the game, acquiring all symbols during 1 journey, except for sunken city ones. If I go back through chapter select and get them, will I have access to the cloak, or do I have to complete the entire game again while getting all symbols?

You can grab symbols on multiple journeys. However, you'll easily remember all the locations with 2/3 runs.

I do know them, just can’t hit the ones in sunken city with small scarf

There is no symbol you can't grab even with a small scarf. If you're talking about the second slide, you have carpets leading you there if you go in a certain path. As for the one in the middle, you use the flyers.

Sounds promising but I wasn’t able to get middle one with fliers and small scarf. I’ll try again though

I don't have any symbol, I didn't grab the two in chapter select even. And as you can see here, I never press the jump button.

Very interesting. Didn’t think of using two flocks separately (thought both were part of 1) and then keeping them as high as possible with constant RMB. Thanks for the tip
