Most of the time, I prefer just making my own plans anyway, but of course I acknowledge that |everyone is allowed their own opinion on that topic.
Yeah, I didn't particularly like any of the presets. These are what I normally use, with some tweeking if anything isn't at 90%+ utilization:
Retail
S-P-S
S-A-S
S-P-S
Most products can have 1 purchasing department service 3 sales departments. 3 sales departments on the largest retail outlet can supply 1 million people. I don't usually sell more than 2 products per store.
Factory (3 input)
S-P-S
M-P-M
S-P-S
Most manufacturing can supply 2 sales departments.
Factory (Import Warehouse)
P-I-S
P-I-S
P-I-S
Just a small factory used to secure 3 good imports, and make them available across the whole world. Good to trap competitors into buying from you too, then cut them off one day to really hurt their entire business model.
Agri Farm
I-G-I
I-S-I
I-G-I
Lots of inventory for the off season. Might go with 7 growing, 2 sales, and have a warehouse factory handle inventory. Depends how much I need in a year.
Livestock Farm
S-M-S
M-L-S
S-M-S
Don't need to worry about inventory here, since its always producing.
S-sales
P-purchasing
A-advertising
M-manufacturing/processing
I-Inventory
G-growing
L-livestock
