Moero Crystal H coming out in English on the Switch
Hey guys, just in case someone else missed this (it was announced back in May).

Moero Crystal is being released with English subs on the Switch. And it has an HD update with all of the DLC. There's a limited edition too for only $60...standard edition is $40. I'm a collector and love Moero Chronicle, so I would have never forgiven myself if I had missed this. Says the release date is in August.

Sad to see it's not on Steam (at least not yet), but the Switch is the next best thing.

We'd be lucky at this point if it did come to Steam I think. Even the enhancements from Chronicle H is very likely not coming to our game, which would make the walking in dungeons so much better...

is Crystal H this version on switch ? or is it a new game.. ? i sadly dont enjoy Chronicle controls maybe if they make new game it would be better ? :D

Moero Crystal is an entirely different game. One of the enhancements for the Switch port for Chronicle though, is the auto-walking in a dungeon. I really want Iffy to put in our game because it is immensely helpful.

I don't know anything about Crystal, and until I ever decide to get a Switch at some point, I will likely never play the game. Iffy hasn't really been giving us PC players much of a look lately.

Also you can jack off your switch in handheld mode, like the vita version.

A shame it will likely never come to PC.

Any update? Otherwise I'll buy it on Switch...or maybe should I wait another year or 2?

I'm going to keep waiting. Almost a year anniversary when it came out in English on Switch. Maybe something will be announced by the end of the year or something.

Id hope so, thankfully I never paid for this version and it was part of a humble bundle.

It isn't much better I would say, but is better with better HD quality and some QoL stuff especially for exploration. A shame in some ways IFI do a good job supporting PC ports, and other times they make some odd choices in what to port or not to port.
TwinShadow Sep 13, 2021 @ 10:25am
I'm kinda starting to feel that in most cases, IFI isn't really caring about the PC base more and more as of late and just only bothering with the Switch. Now, it's a decent little console, sure... but myself, I have zero intention of ever owning a Switch for a variety of reasons, all stipulated from how Nintendo acts against consumers. Honestly, y'all are better off probably just emulating most likely from dumping your own carts or whatever.

There is such a minuscule chance that we could see the QoL improvements for Chronicle on Steam that I wouldn't get any hopes up. This game hasn't been updated since that last update they did a couple years ago and have likely abandoned it to move on to other projects that don't really matter to us on PC. (or rather, the PC-only player-base like myself as of late)

And yes, I'm aware of a couple titles semi-recent from IFI, but I kinda don't care about them that much, so I don't really look.

95% OFF price for the games...... Even in other Pc platforms.... Yep. They really don't expect people to buy thir games. Maybe because many are pirating (free of net)? So MAYBE they decided, lets just make it so cheap people are buying it (every little profit helps), and hopefully they'll buy many of the dlcs that are reduced as well?

But yes, I definitely don't see them acting like PC based sales are any good. Btw, this is me mentioning something others said (aka, don't quote me if I'm wrong), apparently in Japane, console games are the main profit, with many having multiple consoles but not necessarily a pc. Aka, profit comes, again, from console based game than PC

And who knows, maybe one day. I mean, many of the Neptunia games have "only on playstation" on thir cover box. Now they are on steam

IFI has still ported most of their recent releases to PC so I will give them props for that. Doesn't feel like they don't care about PC when only a few of their recent releases aren't on PC. It is hard to argue whether the autopilot and stat items are worth overhauling this port or porting Moero Chronicle H to PC. The main weird exceptions from them recently are MeiQ, and Mary Skelter 2. MeiQ is odd since it is in the same series as Trillion, and Trillion got its localization for the Vita version released and PC version announced before MeiQ released in North America that same year in 2016. Mary Skelter 2, along with the remake of the first game included with it, still feels up in the air whether or not it will get a PC release ever at this point. Moero Crystal H is a similar situation to the initial Moero Chronicle release on Vita in English where both weren't done by IFI and instead given Asia English releases which then took IFI 2 years to port Moero Chronicle to PC. It is possible a similar thing will happen with Moero Crystal H which was released by EastAsiaSoft for a Asia English version likely due to licensing or however the contract is, may not be able to port it themselves until after a certain time.

It's kinda sad because, this series looks kinda fun yet the other games aren't available on steam except for this one. I can't cough up cash for a vita.
