Moero Crystal IF any plans port it to steam

Wouldn't count on it, moero chronicle had an english version so they only had to port it to steam whereas the english version of crystal was canceled so they'd probably have to translate the entire game. They also can't release on vita in the west due to rating boards. It'll take a few more days for steamspy to semi-accurately show sales, so far it seems like moero chronicle is doing ok, but not good enough for them to warrant translating the entire sequel.

Rating boards like the ESRB is not a problem for Steam. Steam games do NOT need to be rated by the ESRB to be sold on Steam, that is why you see some games are Unrated.

However, I do agree the chances are low, while Compile Heart seems to have a endless supply of innovation, I doubt they will pay the money to port something that isn't already translated.

ESRB are non-binding anyway. Only reason companies have to get a rating is to put them on storeshelves or in digital stores on the console. Otherwise, ESRB ratings aren't a requirement. (as evidenced by the myriad of Steam games without such a rating)

Its up to Compile Heart to invest the money into translation though, but I do hope at some point they will consider it.

if you want Moero Crystal on steam. perhaps contact IF about it. I contacted IF last time for the game we all finally got to have on steam now and its possible that they could rework and port MC to PC after this somewhat successful sale for moero chronicle.
