I wanna see Moero Crystal, Seven Pirates, Castle Panzers, and Gun Gun Pixies all get brought over. They also said that they won't bring over games they feel they have to censor though. And since Monster Monpiece, the previous Genkai Tokki game, was censored on the Vita and not on PC and this isn't censored on PC....
Well, I think the reason they're avoiding a Western Vita release is because of ESRB.
Castle Panzers is coming to the PS4 so I'd rather hold out with that than deal with the Vita games at this point
Either that or just go the English-Asian route. I honestly prefer that, since I care not about dubs and also prefer console. Though I'll take uncensored PC ports over nothing ANY day.
It is likely that all the games in the Genkai series would have to be censored if they came west on consoles. So I'm okay with IFI skipping over the Vita/PS4 versions of these games. They are entitled to change their business practises/stances over time as the market changes, especially with how successful Steam has been for them over the past couple of years.
Considering how PS4 keeps getting more of these types of games, my hope lies on Castle Panzers getting an English Asian version just so they can port it to Steam too.
I'll reserve my hype for when the first step is actually taken.
Correct me if i am wrong, but i do think that Sony (and Microsoft,Nintendo) demands a rating if any game is to be published on their systems.
Its like "Nintendo's Seal of Approval" thing from the SNES era. If they dont have the "OK" from Sony, then they cant use any of the PS features.
Which is suicide, more so than Steam, at least here it really doesnt matter if the game has steamworks features or not.
