OBS and Issues Recording or Streaming the Game

I'm having this issue on OBS with this game that I have not had with any previous VR games before and I was wondering if anybody could help me out on how to find a fix or workaround. When i use the OpenVR Capture Plugin on OBS it captures through Steam VR and then captures whichever game I am playing. However for some reason it treats Desert Bus as if it was a nonVR game and wont capture it thru steam VR. The game looks fine on my headset but OBS can't pick it up and when using game capture it has black bars along the sides and shutters when I move making it practically unwatchable.

Has anybody else encountered this issue with the game? None of my other VR games have this problem and they all open through Steam VR just fine. (Using a Quest 2 btw)
